Ferry Tayle & TonKs pres. Mirage - Shifting Horizon

This "French Wizard" named by ID&T, promoter of the "Trance Energy" brand in 2010 is the true representative of pure, melodic, and uplifting trance sound. Exactly 25 years have passed since Ferry Tayle started DJing, but he gained global recognition in 2005 with his ETN.FM show "Universal Language" and produced hits like "Proglifter" with Cape Town in 2006. His albums "Aviateur" and "Carnet De Vol" in 2008 solidified his success. Ferry debuted on "Bonzai Records" alongside the legendary Airwave before moving on to "Enhanced Recordings," one of the biggest labels in the trance scene. This led to his tracks being signed by Black Hole Recordings, Armada, and FSOE. Since 2022, Ferry and Dan Stone have been running FSOE's sublabel, Fables, achieving significant success. When it comes to gigs Ferry was part of many major European festivals like Tomorrowland, Trance Energy, A State Of Trance, and Luminosity Beach Festival, as well as renowned clubs and brands worldwide, including Digital Society, Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Technoclub, Pacha in New York, and Driftwood in Ibiza.

But the story never ends for Ferry Tayle. Recently, he decided to embark on another project alongside his best friend, TonKs. Mirage was created to modernize the classic trance sound using mainly hardware synthesizers and drum machines, as explained by TonKs and Ferry. These 2 creative souls have been best friends for over 20 years and released their first track, "Vol De Nuit," in 2006 on Bonzai, receiving support from top DJs like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, and Above & Beyond. Unlike traditional DJ sets, Mirage emphasizes live performance, allowing them to recreate their studio productions with the same equipment.

Their debut techno-trance track, "Shifting Horizon," has just been released, merging groovy beats with melodic techno and pure trance breakdowns. The drop features a distinct acid line and kick, delivering high energy and a unique narrative. The contrast between the emotional breakdown and darker drop symbolizes a shifting horizon, capturing all their current influences in one track. “We don’t want to be put into the trance box. We are artists, a band with different influences, and we take the freedom to produce what we want, not what people expect,” Ferry shared.
